Argument “To determine the identity of the father and mother of the child, is to inscribe it at the intersection of multiple genealogical lines that establish their affiliation, set the rights and duties of those who are depositary with respect to their ascendants and, therefore, build their identity . Filiation and identity of the person are social creations, intimately linked to each other. It is not in fact possible to think of pure individuality: the individual exists in and by the relationship with the neighbor and therefore in the first place by his reference to ancestral individuals and lineages ” Francoise Héritier-Augé
“The human individual is a being of needs that are only socially satisfied, in relationships that determine it. The subject is not just a related subject, it is a produced subject, that is, the result of the interaction between individuals, groups and classes ” Enrique Pichon Rivière
The inscription of the subjects in the map of their family ancestry, is called: affiliation, and the voluntary and determined ascription to the groups and institutions is called affiliation. Both are part of the identity.
The affiliation is meant differently depending on the speech or knowledge of the issue. In psychoanalysis it covers the real, imaginary and symbolic dimensions, on the one hand, and an ascending (transgenerational) affiliation, and another descending (intergenerational dimension).
The new configurations of couples and families (increase in single-parent families, etc.), determine changes in the origin of their descendants, with consequences that may or may not affect the identity and trophic narcissism of children.
In these days we will try to address the problems that affect families, couples and groups, with the aim of opening guiding paths in the chaos of contemporary suffering.
