Hanni Mann-Shalvi

Hanni Mann-Shalvi, PhD is a Training Psychoanalyst and a Lecturer at the Israeli Psychoanalytic Society (IPA). She is a couple and family psychoanalyst, the founder and director of the The Psychoanalytic Couple and Family centre in Israel which is affiliated to IPI Washington that was founded and directed by Dr David Scharff. She is an adjunct faculty at IPI. Hanni is the former Vice President of IACFP. International Association of Couple and Family Psychoanalysis. Served on its board and Scientific Committee at its seven Congresses. She is on the International Advisory Board of the Couple and Family Journal. Hanni is the author of the book “From Ultrasound to Army, the Unconscious Trajectories of Masculinity in Israel” in English and in Hebrew. She published many papers and chapters in books. She is the chief editor of a series “couple and family psychoanalysis” that will be published in Hebrew with ‘Pardes’ publishing house. In her research and writing she deals with couple and family psychoanalysis, transgenerational transmission of trauma and Israeli unconscious.
